Celebrating 100 Years of Learning: Donate $100 to the Friends of the East Lansing Public Library
Our cherished East Lansing Public Library has been a cornerstone of our community for a century, fostering learning, exploration, and imagination. To ensure its thriving future, we invite you to contribute $100 in honor of ELPL’s 100th anniversary.
ELPL’s journey began in 1923 when dedicated volunteers operated from a single room in the People’s Church. Today it stands as a treasure trove of books, e-books, and countless resources, thanks to community supported ten-year bonds.
The Friends of the East Lansing Public Library have long been essential, contributing funds through a volunteer run bookshop in the library. Now, we call on you to celebrate ELPL’s centennial by making a $100 donation - a dollar for each year of its existence.
Your $100 signifies a century of community support and shared stories. It ensures the library’s legacy, helping us acquire new materials and expand educational and cultural programs for all ages.
