ELPL’s Millage Renewed for Ten More Years!

The East Lansing Public Library (ELPL) is giving a huge thank you to the wonderful community for their support in the November 8, 2022 election! ELPL was on the ballot to renew the operating millage, which is the majority of ELPL’s budget, and which pays for the programs, services, technology, facility maintenance, collections, staff and resources the community has come to expect from the library. The renewal passed with over 84% in favor. As one patron said, “that is a mandate!”. This is a huge affirmation of our library’s value in the East Lansing community, and the library is incredibly grateful. ELPL is excited to continue to grow with the community and to provide great resources, programs, and services for the next ten years - and hopefully many more!
